Raytheon is seeking Ground System Software Engineers to work and contribute on our classified programs. The position works in a SCIF environment with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices.
We are seeking software engineering professionals to work onsite in our Aurora, CO location.
*Design and develop software for satellite ground systems.
* Experience with the full software lifecycle including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance.
* Work with modern Developer Security Operations development practices and utilize Agile processes
*Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior software engineering experience.
* Experience developing software using C++ or Java.
* Experience working with LINUX or UNIX operating systems
* S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
*Knowledge of satellite command and control software
* Background in planning and scheduling algorithm implementation
* Understanding of Agile development and software engineering best practices.
* Background in microservices, Kubernetes, and containerized applications
* Experience delivering application software
