Laboratory Sampler

LabCorp is seeking a Specialty Lab Assistant in Cytology to join our team in Knoxville, TN. This role works in a high volume, production based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science.
The schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 pm - 4:30 am.
*Note: This is a 3rd shift schedule - Night shift.​*

Receive and sort clinical lab specimens and prepare specimens for testing and analysis; Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
* Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
* Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
*Previous medical/lab or production experience is preferred
* Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
* Flexibility to work overtime as needed
