Due to a retiring ENT, Columbus Community Hospital is actively recruiting for an ear, nose and throat (ENT) physician to join the Columbus medical community in Nebraska.
This opportunity is perfect for either a seasoned professional or new residency graduate.
Hospital-employed
Physicians valued - just finished physician satisfaction survey and scored (again) in the 85 th percentile
FT/Perm Placement - would like to become a long-term member of medical and Columbus community
Recruitment due to retiring ENT (has been in Columbus community for 37 years)
Clinic located in Medical Office Building attached to Columbus Community Hospital
Clinic volume: Clinic hours: Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)
Required call is 1:3 weekdays, 1:4 weekends
Level III trauma center
State-of-the-art facility
Olympus Endoscopy Tower in clinic
Financially Sound Hospital System with tenured staff
State-licensed Child Care Center on Campus
Open to new graduates
Clinic Staff :
~1 FT ENT, 1 PT ENT, 1 Weekend Call Coverage ENT (not including retiring ENT)
~1 PRN Physician Assistant to assist in surgery

* In fall 2021, the hospital competed a $35M expansion and renovation projects, which allowed us to add a new surgical services area, maternal child health department and senior behavioral health unit.
* In October 2021, the hospital broke ground on its new 260,000 square foot, $55M fieldhouse. The fieldhouse is an extension of the hospitals mission to enhance community wellness. The hospital emergency department is staffed 24/7 by hospital-employed physicians and is designated as a Level III trauma center.
