The role's core responsibility will be as a Product Owner for an agile platform product team. Additionally, you will help with the design and implementation of the platform. You will be on a team that is responsible for development and operational environments consisting of a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware. These environments provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset.
*NOTE: This position will be onsite in the RTX Facility in Aurora CO.*
*Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure to a modern platform infrastructure
* Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutions
* Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise VMware computing environments
* Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
* Ensure security and compliance are integrated into the platform
* Provide operational support for the platform
*A current transferable TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
* Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience
* Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
* Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services
* Experience with programming/automation/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
*Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems
* Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
* Experience with VMware
* Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible
* Knowledge of secure coding practices such as OWASP, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation
* Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization
* Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework
* Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
* Current CompTIA Security + or ability to obtain within 90 days.
