FTE: Full Time, 1.Shift: Days
Provides mentoring, monitoring, coaching, and evaluation of team members' performance, especially in the areas of productivity and quality management. Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration (DORA); Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. Preferred: Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
