DESCRIPTION
The Yahnis Company, one of the largest family owned wholesale beverage distributors in South Carolina, is seeking full-time outside sales representatives for our Florence based sales team. Established outside sales routes. Customers are licensed alcohol retailers. No cold calls.
Compensation: Commission, Annual Target $46-$50k
Schedule: 5 day work week (4 week days, 1 weekend day)
Outside Sales Representative Requirements:
Must complete employment application and provide 3 year driving record from DMV.
Minimum age: 21 years old due to products containing alcohol.
Ability to push/pull/lift/carry heavy product.
Ability to operate a smartphone, tablet/computer, standard office machines and be proficient with excel and word programs.
Valid driver's license required.
Use of company vehicle and gas card for route purposes.
Sales Representative must have working knowledge of beer sales and distribution.
Advance knowledge of selling and merchandising skills.
Understanding of retail performance standards and the ability to deliver consistent execution against those standards.
Sales Representative must have working knowledge of executing pricing and promotional plans.
Must have ability to follow and execute a sales plan.
Sales Representative must have strong customer focus.
Must be able to rapidly analyze account needs and individual styles to sell-in appropriate products, programs, promotions, and merchandising materials.
A working knowledge of applicable company policies, and state/local regulations governing the sale and marketing of alcoholic beverages.
Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Sales Representative must work in a safe manner.
Adhere to all product handling procedures.
Attend meetings and training sessions, as required.
The Yahnis Company's portfolio of products include selections from Molson/Miller/Coors, Pabst Brewing Co., Yuengling, Heineken and regional crafts such as Sweetwater, Dogfish Head, Green Man, and Hi-Wire.
