Under the supervision of the ASC Supervisor or Manager, plans, directs and delivers high quality comprehensive nursing care in accordance with Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Center's ASC By-Laws. Follows professional standards of nursing practice, procedures, and protocols. Under the direct supervision of the LIP provides comprehensive procedural sedation services in collaboration with other members of the ASC health care team.

Coursework/Training in conscious sedation and equipment used within the ASC department
3 years Recent RN experience in an in-patient care or ASC setting
3 years Recent experience in an ASC or acute care setting: Critical care, Operating Room, Emergency Room, Recovery Room, Endoscopy, GI Lab
Coursework/Training in equipment and instrument Sterilization
Coursework/Training in sterile technique
