The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) Department of Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care seeks a full-time Adult Psychiatrist physician to join our interprofessional team. This position offers an exciting career opportunity within a vibrant clinical and academic environment, where faculty can focus on clinical innovation, education, or research.

To succeed in this role, you will have a faculty appointment at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and clinical privileges at both DFCI and BWH. To be considered, you must have completed a Consultation-Liaison Fellowship and beboard certified/eligible in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.

Ready to join us? Here’s what you’ll do

· Work closely with our interprofessional teams of social workers, psychologists, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and palliative care colleagues to provide state-of-the-art psychiatric care to oncology patients within both our outpatient and inpatient clinical services.

· Participate in extensive formal and informal teaching activities at DFCI, BWH and the HMS Center for Palliative Care. Trainees include fellows in consultation-liaison psychiatry; residents; medical students; and other clinicians rotating with Psychosocial Oncology.
