Part-Time Field Registered Nurse

APS Health & Infusion Nursing Services, LLC is a staffing agency for home infusions in various states across the U.Our nurses work PRN in their local areas doing home infusions on an as-needed basis. We work hand-in-hand with hundreds of specialty pharmacies who regularly contact us with new patient referrals. We staff our registered nurses with the pharmacy's patients. The pharmacies call for a wide variety of needs from IVIG to antibiotics to simple teach & train visits for prefilled med syringes. The registered nurse schedules the visit directly with the patient via phone. We pay hourly for time spent in the patient's home PLUS round-trip mileage. Hourly pay rates are based on level of education, location and experience. Pay will be discussed in detail and agreed upon at the time of the phone interview.

* 24/7 on-call clinical nursing support from highly experienced clinical nurse managers who possess expert-level home infusion skills.
* Prior to the nurse's initial patient visit, a _*one-time *_detailed and thorough 1:1 orientation (approximately 1 hr) with a clinical nurse manager via Microsoft Teams Video call will be provided.
*Care for the individual based on personalized Plan of Care Informs the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel of changes in the client’s conditions and needs.
* Counsel's client and family through care process while updating family on a regular basis.
* Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
* Participates in agency performance improvement activities and continuously staying informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care.
*Current unrestricted Registered Nursing license. \*Minimum one (1) year of documented hands-on RN experience required.
* *Must be able to convert documents to PDF form. An encrypted email address will be provided to the RN to safely send and receive confidential patient health information.

*Position Summary*: As a Registered Nurse (RN), Home Infusion you will allow you to work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. *Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients' homes. IVIG, alpha-1 therapy, biologics, inotropic therapy, hemophilia therapy, antibiotics, teach & trains, SQ injections, IM injections, SQIG and a wide range of other specialty drugs.
- Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's orders and plan of treatment.
- Provide detailed documentation regarding the patient's visit via simple paper or easy digital charting within a 24hr turn-around time. Patient assessment form, nursing notes page, IVIG flowsheet (if giving IVIG), Covid questionnaire, and a billable timesheet. We give the RN the option to use paper or digital documentation based on what the RN is most comfortable using.
