We recognize that people with diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives fuel our growth and enrich our global culture. *JOB DESCRIPTION:* The primary function of this position is to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install, of production and packaging line equipment and machinery, as well as perform preventative maintenance projects, according to a set schedule and in emergency and non- emergency situations, observing all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met and to maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process. *JOB DUTIES:*

  • Check work orders, prioritize maintenance requests, troubleshoot repairs, prepare a plan and coordinate with co-workers / supervisor a schedule to complete the work in a timely manner.
  • Replace, repair, adjust, install, and modify electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic, pneumatic equipment, tools and machinery as needed.
  • Read work orders, blueprints, drawings, and plans, perform installations, fabrications, weld, cut, grind, perform other machining tasks and maintain the maintenance logbook as required.
  • Inspect work and work area, perform clean-up using proper tools and equipment and according to approved methods and procedures.
  • Build, sharpen, repair, or modify parts using lathes, surface grinders, mills, honing equipment, etc. to work order specifications.
  • Assist with monitoring /maintenance of energy sources, boilers, refrigeration, coolers, air compressors, HVAC systems and apparatus.
  • Provide direction for preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot, problem-solve, organize, follow-up and upgrade, while complying with OSHA, EPA, and all other regulatory agencies as required.
  • Initiate actions identify and record to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • At end of shift, complete all required paperwork, perform general housekeeping and clean-up as required.

*REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:*

Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*
  • High School Diploma or proof of GED equivalent required.
  • Must have skills recognized by management as essential to the maintenance organization generally supported by training, certificate of continuing education, or other documented evidence of keeping current with technologies.
  • Must have (3-5) yrs. experience in a related maintenance field and demonstrated skill levels to perform essential functions of the job.
  • Must complete the company Maintenance Aptitude Testing.
  • Must have basic computer skills and perform basic math calculations.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for periods of time.
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS:*
  • Repeated lifting and bending.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Mechanical or manual labor over 75lbs.
  • Able to withstand cold temperatures (35 – 40 degrees).
*HOURS & WORKDAYS:* Normal Scheduled hours: 8-hour day assignments. Mandatory overtime hours and weekends when applicable. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits:
