This position will take place on the BMC MCGEE UNIT, which is a detox unit. Berkshire Medical Center has 14 psychiatrists and 10 clinical nurse specialists, who team up with clinical psychologists, social workers, nurses and other clinicians to staff a Clinical Collaborative of comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services with the Brien Center.Our comprehensive program has two inpatient psychiatry units, one inpatient chemical dependency unit, one clinical stabilization unit (CSS), a partial hospital, a child crisis stabilization unit, two adult acute crisis houses, half-way houses, rehabilitation programs, seven outpatient clinics and a crisis team.
