Job Details
Position / Specialty: NICU Respiratory Therapist
The respiratory department performs clinical respiratory modalities for children needing transitional care with complex medical conditions, chronic illnesses, developmental disabilities, abuse, and trauma.
Administration of therapeutic gases, aerosolized medications, bronchial hygiene procedures, noninvasive monitoring along with noninvasive and invasive ventilator support.
First-timers accepted: Yes
Guaranteed Hours: Contracted Hours

Job Requirements
~ Years of experience REQ: 2 years
~ Ratios: Unknown – avg. daily census 29
~ First-timers accepted: Yes
~ RTO Restrictions: RTO must be approved and included in the contract prior to the start date - No RTO may be added after the contract has started.
~ Special Requirements:
~- Meditech experience required
~- Teaching Hospital experience required
~- Community Hospital experience required
~- LTAC experience required
~ Skill Requirements:
~- Pediatrics
~- Endrotracheal tube/suctioning
~- Extubation
~- Intubation
~- Nasal airway placement
