Genie Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a LTAC facility in Morgantown, WV
Shift: 7A-7P or 7P-7A
Hourly Rate: $58
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in LTAC setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and medical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform medical imaging, laboratory procedures, and specimen collection processing
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
- Assist with end-of-life care in hospice palliative medicine settings
- Coordinate care transitions for patients moving between different healthcare facilities
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the state regulatory board
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work well under pressure
- Experience in dermal fillers or working with doctors is a plus
- Familiarity with nursing home regulations and practices is preferred
