Truck Driver Job Description:
The Truck Driver position at Independent Stave Company is responsible for daily safe and timely delivery to our subsidiaries, customers, and other third parties. Driving up to 11 hours per day.
Maintaining the daily safety of company-owned equipment such as semi-truck and semi-trailers.
Working with our maintenance department to perform preventative and regular maintenance on equipment
Ability and experience using heavy equipment for loading/Unloading processes.
Physically set up the equipment needed for log hauling.
An average of 60 total on-duty hours per week is projected or (a 12-hour day average)
Newer model equipment
A current and valid class A CDL license is required.
2 years of verifiable driving experience are required.
