As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." About this unit:
Neuro/Ortho (3E) is a 32 bed BRAND NEW unit that takes care of complex surgical neurological and orthopedic patients. Some of our neuro population includes complex spine, craniotomies, deep brain stimulators, pain pumps, baclofen pumps, and ICP monitoring. We do multiple revisions and amputation surgeries, as well as knee, hip, and shoulder total and partial replacements. This unit is culture driven and strives to provide exceptional patient care and a teamwork atmosphere.
