Join our team as a Cybersecurity Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in fortifying the cybersecurity posture of the JTAGS program's classified systems and networks used for development, integration, testing, training, and operations. This role primarily involves performing system vulnerability scans using the Tenable Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) software. You will also play a key role in developing the patch lists to meet the program's IA/cyber patching cycle. As a member of the JTAGS cybersecurity team, you will have the opportunity to grow as a cybersecurity analyst, develop new skills, and learn new tools from more experienced teammates, all while gaining exposure to the JTAGS mission in support of our US Space Force stakeholders.
This role is full-time and in-person at the COCO-01 Northrop Grumman facility in a classified work environment. Carson in Colorado Springs, CO (about 15-20 mins drive from the NG facility).
For an Associate Cybersecurity Analyst: Bachelors degree in STEM or an additional 4 years of relevant cybersecurity experience may be considered in lieu of a STEM degree.
* For a Cybersecurity Analyst: Bachelors degree in STEM with 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree. An additional 4 years of relevant cybersecurity experience may be considered in lieu of a STEM degree.
* Active IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+) certification.
* Active Secret security clearance.
* Beginner to intermediate proficiency in RHEL OS command line and Windows PowerShell.
* Experience performing vulnerability scans using Tenable ACAS software. Can work effectively with minimal supervision, both independently and within a team.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Is a continuous learner with a passion for cybersecurity.
Previous experience supporting DoD network environments.
* The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. The 4/10 schedule allows employees to work four ten-hour days Monday through Thursday and take off every Friday.
