*Job Title: Medical Assistant*

*Location: Seattle, WA*

*Pay - $33-$36/ Per Hour*

*Duration: 13 Weeks*

*Shift Time: *Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)

All MA's must have an active WA license in order to submit.

Will accept first time travelers.

Position is Monday thru Friday, no weekends or holidays.

*Duties*:
* Administrative duties may include _scheduling appointments_, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
* The certified medical assistant is also responsible for taking _vital signs_, helping doctors with diagnoses and collecting lab samples
* _Medical_ assistants are instrumental in helping patients feel at ease in the physician's office and often explain the physician's instructions.
* ⁠A medical assistant may also ask about your symptoms and _health_ concerns, _recording_ that information in your medical files for your doctor.
* Medical assistants work alongside _doctors_, nurses, and other health care professionals to _assist_ with a mix of clinical duties and administrative tasks.
