Key Responsibilities:

· Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create and follow individualized education plans for our amazing students with special needs.

· Progress Monitoring: Track and assess student progress, adjusting your approach as needed to keep them on track.

· Collaborative Environment: Work with support staff, including paraprofessionals, and parents to build a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

· Student Advocacy: Advocate for our students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with all necessary laws and regulations.

· Inclusive Classroom: Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels engaged and can succeed.

 

Qualifications We're Looking For:

· Education Enthusiast: Bachelor’s degree in special education or education

· Certified Pro: A valid PA teaching certification in Special Education.

· IEP Guru: Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.

· Communication Star: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

· Heart and Soul: Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs.
