Metal Parts Sandblaster - Will Train

Operating specialized tools and machinery that fire high-powered jets of sand or other abrasives at metal and other similarly hard surfaces. Abrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart a specified finish, using abrasive-blasting equipment: Loads parts on racks in enclosed rooms, into tumbling barrels, or into cabinets
Turns valves on equipment to regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through the nozzle or into the tumbling barrel
Starts equipment that directs blast or flow of abrasive-laden compressed air, gas, or liquid over the surface of parts
Manually directs nozzle over the surface of large parts or inserts arms through glove-fitted cabinet openings, and manipulates small parts under nozzle for a specified interval
May examine finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
Some knowledge of PC and Microsoft Excel

Regular Performance Reviews (Reviews: 60 days and 6 months, then twice a year, which may come with a rate increase, providing the employee meets company and performance standards).
Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday - Thursday + OT as scheduled
(Must complete training on 1st shift, 5:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Thursday + OT as scheduled for 1-2 months)

00 / hour (Pay rate includes any applicable shift differential)

Signing Bonus: $1500 ( current employees are not eligible for signing bonus )

Work Authorization / Security Clearance:
