Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY: Utilizes a variety of clinical and leadership skills to educate, consult, and facilitate the service-line team in achieving the highest quality of service and satisfaction for the patients.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred

    Minimum two years in surgical services

    Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.

    Current BLS ( Basic Life Support) required

    Knowledge of scrub and circulating responsibilities and surgical scheduling. Ability to handle OR duties and on-call. Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills including knowledge of hospital systems including Meditech/SMart, MIS, Host and Plus, proficiency in Microsoft Office.

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care hospital. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and are a Level II Trauma Center. We are a teaching hospital in collaboration with UCF College of Medicine. Our hospital is conveniently and centrally located in the Heart of Kissimmee. We are only minutes from Orlando, St. Cloud, Celebration, and Poinciana. We are committed to enhancing the standard of healthcare by providing services including Emergency Care, Trauma Care, Pediatric ER, Heart & Vascular Institute, and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Other services include The Baby Suites Maternity Care, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Level II, Women’s Services, Behavioral Health, Orthopedics & Spine, and a Graduate Medical Education Program.
