Unit Information: Ortho/Surgical General Information: Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 35 Number of Staff – 11 Type of staff (Day Shift – 1 charge /CNC, 6 RN, 3PCTs, and 1unit clerk) Night Shift – 1 Charge/CNC,6RNs 3PCTs Patient Ratios – 1:5,1:6 Type of equipment – Computer on Wheels/ Hospira pumps/ I MOBILE phones EMR - MEDITECH Typical hiring profile: Skill Set Most recruited for: List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Bariatric procedures (Gastric bypass, Gastric Sleeves) Orthopedic Surgeries (Total hip replacements, Total knee replacements) General Surgery (Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, Laparoscopic appendectomies) Best personality Fit: Team player, positive attitude

Job Requirements

Must have skills without which candidates will not be considered for the role: BLS Preferred or nice to have skills that will give candidates first consideration: Bariatric Certification Med/Surg Certification Ortho Certification ACLS

Schedule Information

Floating Area(s): Med/Renal, Oncology, Med/Surg Tele, CVTS and Telemetry Dress Code – Scrub Color RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy Unit Guidelines/Policies: Floating Guidelines - Expected to work and float to other areas. Attendance Policies Weekends and On call(if any): 4 weekend shifts in a schedule or 2 full weekends. Night shift weekend night Friday, Saturday, Sunday Day Shift weekend days- Saturday, Sunday
