Generations at Applewood Seeks Part-Time Clinical Support Supervisor on 2nd Shift (3p-11p) and 3rd Shift (11p-7a) - Must be a Registered Nurse AND have experience working and/or supervising in a skilled nursing facility. Depending on what benefit package you select, Hourly rate will be between $42 and 46 per hour.
Responsibilities of the RN Clinical Support Supervisor:
Competently perform all basic nursing skills
Provide direct resident care while supervising and directing floor nurses and CNAs
Check in with floor nurses at beginning and end of shift to address any concerns and need for physician/NP intervention
Assist floor nurse when a resident has a change of condition or emergent situation
Conduct shift walk arounds and communicate and address concerns with DON
Maintain good rapport with residents and families
Revise and update care plans for accuracy
Cover open shifts and call offs on a rotating basis
skin conditions, complete initial Care plan; Provide in-service training when required
Generations at Applewood, is a recently renovated, 24/7 skilled nursing facility offering short-term and long-term care. We provide on-site dialysis respiratory services, IV therapy, Wound Care, Respite and Hospice Care and Cardiac Rehab. For more information about the facility, you are invited to visit:
Minimum of one-year of nursing experience; Proficient PC skills-Microsoft Word and Excel; Ability to promote and restore Residents’ health by developing day to day management and planning, direct staff
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to provide both physical and psychological support to the resident and their family and friends.
Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
Flexible, collaborative and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations
Associate’s degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
