SHIFT:* Full-Time
*A RN Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day clinical activities of health care personnel, such as LPNs and CNAs, while maintaining a safe environment for residents and striving to meet maximum security and comfort needs. Make critical decisions about necessary actions, as well as administer medication, wound care and other personalized interventions.
*Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
Records patients’ medical information and vital signs
Recognizes and manages geriatric syndromes common to older adults, including: cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, hematological, musculoskeletal, endocrine, neurological, psychiatric/psychosocial, integumentary, sensory and pain problems
Prepares equipment and aidS physician during examination and treatment of patient
Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms
Experience in long-term care facility preferred
Ability to supervise and work well with and show respect toward other health care personnel (i.e., residents and their family members
Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness and kindness
