Weekly Pay Range - $2274 To $2527
IR RN provides care to radiology patients who undergo interventional procedures.
Other job duties include monitoring a patient’s vital signs during a procedure and performing daily rounds to monitor the progress of patients.
Reports to Supervisor of the Unit.
Includes checking and verifying vital signs, meds, NPO status, lab results, and medical history.
Includes ensuring the patient and family members understand the procedure and plan of care before signing procedural consent and providing them with discharge planning/instructions.
Monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure, proficient in EGG interpretation.
Providing post-procedure monitoring: The nurse also informs the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs and performs specialized nursing duties, such as administering i.v. sedation or analgesia during special procedures and closely monitoring patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Nursing license in good standing, AHA BLS, ACLS.
