Lazard is seeking an Experienced Associate (1+ year of investment banking experience at the Associate level) to work as a key part of lean deal teams on M&A and other strategic assignments, providing immediate and meaningful exposure to senior bankers and senior client executives. Healthcare Associates in the San Francisco office work on a variety of strategic transactions for leading and emerging pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life science tools & diagnostics companies. The San Francisco-based team is a key part of Lazard's global healthcare practice and leads the coverage and execution of transactions for companies across the U.Lazard is differentiated among the leading investment banks in our history of investing in Associates and developing them into successful senior bankers.
Perform financial analyses and create models
* Prepare and create client presentations and meeting materials
* Interact with client senior executives
* Help to manage deal processes
* A strong interest in Healthcare, particularly in the Life Sciences (e.g., Strong financial modeling skills and quantitative background coupled with meticulous attention to detail
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
* Ability to effectively lead Analysts and provide training and guidance
* Top academic performance with comfort operating in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
