The Parts Counterperson is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm

Three to six months related experience and/or training; CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications preferred
Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification preferred

Must have a good working knowledge of part numbers and part usage and understand applications for use.
Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to: Lift truck or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
Proper use of personal protective equipment is required. Operate all machinery, tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Advise parts manager if there is anything in need of repair.
Able to receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit (RMA). Check in and stock parts inventory and ensure accuracy.
Corresponds with inventory control regarding any damages/shortages (any claims).
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Pick-up and deliver parts or raw materials to/from our suppliers using a company van as requested.
Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
