If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for nursing care and related assistance for adult and geriatric patients with a broad range of illnesses. You will handle assessment of patients, medication administration, direct and indirect patient care, and procedure documentation and monitoring.
~ You will complete and document a patient assessment.
~ You will reassess and document changes in patient condition.
~ You will administer medications and monitor and document response
~ You will manage patients with potentially life-threatening conditions via physician order by using medications and emergency equipment.
~ Two (2) years' of critical care experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
~ Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab nursing experience- preferred
Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) – required
~ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. David’s Healthcare policy
~ David’s Healthcare policy –required within one (1) month of hire
~ National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification –required within one (1) month of hire
