Compensation

  • Average weekly pay: $1,231.64
    • Pay: $25.42-$27.67 an hour + additional $4.98-$5.28/H&W
    • $2,500 sign-on bonus
    • Driver referral bonus of $500
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

  • Home daily with 1 weekly layover
  • 3 trips a week
  • Off Monday, Tuesday, and Friday
  • Wednesday & Thursday Schedule:
    • Load in Dayton, OH @ 12:45 AM> Detroit, MI
    • Return to Dayton, OH @ 8:15 AM
  • Saturday Schedule:
    • Load in Dayton, OH @ 8:30 AM
    • Layover in Columbia, SC (10 hour reset) (Hotel Provided)
    • Return to Dayton, OH @ 8:30 PM Next Day
  • Hauling: Postal
  • Truck loads vary
  • Postal employee will load using large metal roll carts
  • Mostly No Touch Freight -Driver must secure load

  • Routine Preventive Maintenance

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Must have CDL A license
  • Must have a minimum of 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Safety Conscious MVR
  • Responsive and Communicative
  • No DUI/DWIs in last 5 years
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles or a 1-hour commute maximum from Dayton, OH or be willing to relocate for this position
