Full time or part time Colorado Permanente Medical Group is seeking a fellowship trained board eligible or board-certified Glaucoma Specialist or a General Ophthalmologist in Denver, Colorado We have an excellent opportunity to join a highly collegial team of ophthalmologists in Denver, Colorado.
We are one of the largest ophthalmology practices in Colorado. We are protected from nonmedical interests such as private equity. This is a shareholder track position with opportunity at year 3 to become a shareholder of Colorado Permanente Medical Group.
Our group is 18 collegial and supportive ophthalmologists with nearly all subspecialities represented including 2 full time glaucoma subspecialists. Volumes excess of sufficient to support a third surgical glaucoma subspecialist exist currently without need for practice building.
Our physicians are free to focus on clinical medicine. The practice is professionally managed. Though opportunities to pursue leadership roles exist, there is no expectation of administrative responsibilities for group physicians.
State of the art equipment, devices, and Epic EMR are in use. You will practice at a new medical office with an onsite ambulatory surgery center. Medical and surgical glaucoma is managed in conjunction with supporting integrated Kaiser Permanente general ophthalmologists and optometrists. Our glaucoma subspecialists perform cataract surgery, MIGS, lasers, and more complex glaucoma surgeries. Our general ophthalmologists provide cataract care with cataract surgery, medical retina with intravitreal injections, medical glaucoma and provide in office procedures chalazion, lesion removal and lasers.
Our groups full time ophthalmologists practice four days a week. Kaiser Permanente offer a generous benefits and retirement package as well as a starting bonus and relocation bonus.
