This unique opportunity will allow an experienced urologist to have immediate access to a robust patient volume and contribute to shaping the future of a new urology practice. With plans to grow to a group of 4 providers and multiple APPs, this position is ideal for a general urologist excited to build something. New grads will have support from local teams until the urology practice is established. The position offers ample room for growth and the flexibility to accommodate most subspecialties within the scope of a general urology position. With a commitment to excellence, this health network delivers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, ranging from acute care hospitals to outpatient physician offices. Hospital Highlights:
• Opportunity at flagship hospital, a 396-bed hospital, level II trauma center.
• The network's reputation for specialized centers of excellence, including cardiovascular care, cancer treatment, orthopedics, neurology, and women's health.
• Certifications for stroke care, cancer treatment, and bariatric surgery.
Position Highlights:
• Practice in one hospital, one Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
• Dedicated support for practice growth and physician well-being, including locum tenens coverage and assistance from area urologists with inpatient and trauma call coverage while practice builds to 4 providers.
• Highly competitive compensation package, featuring a generous base salary in the 75th percentile, production bonus, commencement bonus, training stipend, relocation allowance, and options for student loan/medical debt repayment.
• Collaborative and supportive hospital environment, fostering camaraderie among a diverse group of providers and medical staff across specialties.
• Call will be no more than 10 days a month and compensation provided for additional call days beyond the threshold
• Access to ample block OR time, ensuring efficient patient care and procedural scheduling.
