Cleans and disinfects x-ray room and equipment. Prepare barium preparation and other chemical mixture for x-rays. Adjusts equipment, determines proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time. Arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain position of patient and adjusts the lead shield and selects proper films . Routinely maintains stock supplies and performs general office duties such as drafting reports. Transport patients Follow infection control guidelines applicable to the section. Efficiently takes mobile x-ray unit to patient’s room or emergency room. Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiology .
