We are now seeking a Opal Memory Care Program Supervisor to join our team
This position is responsible for the implementation of activities, events and programming for our memory care residents.
What you'll do:
- Provide programming to resident's living with dementia, assessing leisure and recreational needs, creating and collaborating with others.
- Planning and conducting in-service training relative to resident and staff needs.
- Developing, maintaining and coordinating a monthly program of purposeful and meaningful activities that support resident dignity, preference, and choice.
What you'll bring:
- Prior experience with an adult/senior/geriatric population developing and implementing therapeutic and leisure recreation activities.
- COTA or BS in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation or Human Services is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in a managerial role and ability to lead a team.
Some weekend availability is a plus, but not a requirement. A Tuesday through Saturday scheduled is desired, if possible, but not a requirement.
