As a designated regional referral center Trinity Regional Medical Center offers a wide range of primary and secondary care services. Trinity is accredited by DNV Healthcare Inc. and has achieved Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.PRN opportunity with option to increase FTE based on practice needsEstablished hospital medicine program serving Fort Dodge and the surrounding communitiesCohesive group of experienced colleagues and supportive staffSpecialists include: Cardiology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Nephrology, Intensivist, GI, Emergency Medicine, Podiatry, Tele-Neurology, Tele-Psychiatry, Tele-ID, Palliative Care, etc.Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordinationResponsibilities:

Admitting and rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years and olderEvaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care7on/7off scheduling12-hour shifts; 7a 7pTelehospitalist service overnightAverage patients/day = 18Open ICU with intensivist available to consultNo night shifts, no call, no procedures and no codesPatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environmentExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skillsOutstanding work/life balance with flexible schedulingQualifications:

MD or DOBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineAbility to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of IowaHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practiceEligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)J-1 waiver sponsorship available
