Job Overview

iFoodDS is expanding its team and seeking a Senior Product Manager to support our food safety, quality management and traceability SaaS solution. We are looking for someone who is passionate about understanding the challenges and pain points of our customers and target markets to drive our product strategy and prioritization. This includes researching, documenting, and communicating the requirements with our internal business stakeholders and our development team to deliver enhancements and new capabilities in our platform. This Senior Product Manager role is focused on our NextGen Trace Exchange solution. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned product manager who excels at defining and executing large product development projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Product ownership of our Trace Exchange SaaS solution.
  • As the product owner, partner with the development team to execute product requirements for Trace Exchange product
  • Research and communicate the market needs in support of our product development activities.
  • Conduct market research in the areas of grocery retail, food service and supply chain to inform product strategy that is aligned with company goals and market leadership.
  • Experience conducting financial research and market size modeling with ability to analyze and determine Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Served Available Market (SAM).
  • Experience in evaluating and prioritizing product requirements to deliver the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or feature enhancement.
  • Keep current with the competitive landscape, clearly articulate the value proposition associated with iFoodDS solutions versus competitors.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to create compelling product marketing communications and accomplish lead generation objectives
  • Partner with the Sales team for input on customer and market needs for product development.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to engage in technical product development and design discussions while representing the business requirements of the customers.
  • Experience supporting technical product discussion activities with partners, customers and prospects.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools, including SCRUM and utilization of Jira for tracking of stories, backlog and roadmap.
  • Experience with product development for SaaS / Cloud based enterprise and mobile software solutions
  • Experience building mobile applications, including working with Design/UX teams to define user workflows
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT environments, particularly around enterprise data security, ERP systems, and supply chain management
  • Superior project management and interpersonal skills, ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure
  • Natural curiosity and creative problem-solving skills
  • Team player who collaborates and enjoys working in cross-team projects
  • 5+ years of experience in a product management
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of the food supply chain is preferred

Travel

  • Approximately 25% travel with potential for international travel

Compensation

The s alary for this position typically ranges from $​125,000​ to $​150,000​ . This range is intended to reflect prevailing salaries in different geographic locations across the United States as well as the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
