This Sterile Processing Tech opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient afternoon/evening schedule.
We are searching for a Sterile Proessing Tech . You will be responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of Instrumentation, supplies and equipment dispensed by the department following established infection control practices. Participates in the department’s performance improvement activities.
Adapts procedures to meet individual needs of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for treatment.
Prepares room in a timely manner with all anticipated instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment for each individual surgical / pain procedure, or all anticipated endoscopes, instruments, supplies and equipment of each individual GI Lab procedure.
reports all discrepancies to Circulating RN and surgeon and/or corrects immediately
