Francis Hospital campus with occasional hours in Skokie.
This full-time role is primarily outpatient but may also take call and round on inpatients.
Would like NP to have weekend call once a month.
In collaboration with a physician, provides for the expansion of individualized primary healthcare services by diagnosing and treating certain acute or chronic health conditions.
Candidate will need to have excellent communication skills, learn and use the electronic medical record system, and reliably examine patients.
Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning treatment options and community resources.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
Master's degree of Nursing required.
APP
prior experience with oncology is preferred
