Raytheon is seeking an experienced Program Management, Planning & Scheduling professional to join the Program Design & Planning organization. This position will be responsible for the development, maintenance and analysis of the Program Master Phasing Schedule and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule - developing the network and integrated workflow of schedule activities to ensure accurate, appropriate, and effective plan is established for the scope of work. Perform analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of critical path, risk integration, IMS structure, and evaluate trends and schedule related metrics. Reviews and implements IMS coding, outlining structures and adherence to directives and department scheduling best practices. plans/artifacts (HUM, MPS, First Unit Flow), to help the program team understand and manage to the plan.
Conduct and explain Schedule Risk Analysis results to program teams, understands SRA concepts and theory, with ability to interpret results to the program team and integrate mitigation plans into the IMS and schedule risks into the Risk Management process with the assistance of a Scheduled Risk Analysis SME.
Provides weekly and monthly planning metrics on schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical path analysis, and schedule variance analysis and network logic validation, employing appropriate Earned Value Management System processes.
Mentor and train junior planners
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and m inimum of 8 years of Program Planning or Scheduling or Project Management experience , or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
Prior work experience using software designed for creating and maintaining industry related schedules. (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar scheduling software)
Prior work experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and/or workflow.
Prior work experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process.
S. government issued security clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Demonstrated ability to interpret/analyze SRA results, program schedule risk/opportunity drivers and schedule probability of success.
Understanding of hardware and software development life cycle, exposure to agile methodologies
Demonstrated ability to manage/lead/teach and support proper scheduling and EVMS techniques, principles for project personnel or teams of varying size and backgrounds.
Be able to identify and drive process improvement, ability to work with the team to develop solutions and solve problems.
Familiarity with APEX financial systems
