Shift: Days

Pay: $33.82 / hour. Flat Rate

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED. Preferred: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
  • Registered Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
Responsibilities:

  • Performs safe positioning using population-specific guidelines and basic equipment operation.
  • Performs sterile techniques and passes instruments for basic surgical procedures. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon to assist in expediting the operative procedure.
  • Sets up equipment and instrumentation for emergency procedures to ensure prompt patient care.
  • Facilitates patient care and room turnover.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
