*Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Manage activities, workflow and nursing resources for one or more assigned specialty nursing areas: Cardiovascular/Cath Lab, Surgical Services, Emergency/Triage, Endoscopy, Adult or Pediatric/NeoNatal Critical Care, Labor & Delivery/Women & Family.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within the unit(s).
Identifiy and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in the unit(s).
Develop and maintain quality monitoring systems for the assigned unit(s).
Conduct hiring, training, directing, counseling, development and evaluating of staff.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
