State Farm Litigation Counsel is seeking a trial attorney to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to handle personal injury defense litigation and insurance-related matters in a structured environment. Candidates should possess superior oral advocacy and writing skills, outstanding research abilities, a strong teamwork orientation, and high ethical standards. You will be working in a hybrid environment, with some required presence in the office and some remote. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.
We provide a congenial, team oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff.
1-15 years of legal practice
* Accredited Law School, in the top half of graduating class and an active member in good standing of Bar in state of operation
* Must have an active law license to practice in Indiana and a member in good standing with the State Bar of Indiana
* Other than authorized and pro bono work, incumbents are not permitted to handle any legal business outside of the Company and candidates must cease all outside practice and all suit involvement before joining State Farm
* Must successfully complete orientation and training program as designated by the Managing Attorney or the Law Department
* Travels via commercial transportation or driving to job related activities
* Meets State Bar requirements and maintains legal competency by participation in continuing legal education programs
