About the unit
Teams 3 & 4 is a Level 1 trauma center with a fast-paced operating room caring for both inpatients and outpatients. Specialties include Urology, Gynecology, ENT, and OMFS. In addition, we have a robust robotic program consisting of 8 DaVinci Xi robots and an SP robot. Our robotic program expands to several service lines including General, Urology, Gynecology, Colorectal, Bariatric, Hepatobiliary, Thoracic and ENT. The first robotic program in Michigan to hit 20,000 robotic surgeries. Our Urology, Gynecology, and ENT programs consistently receive national recognition by the U.News & World Reports. The Surgical Technologist II will be responsible for maintaining and preparing the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, and making appropriate responses as needed.
