Interim Controller

Description

Our Client a large healthcare company is seeking a Interim Controller to step in to the executive team, as the current controller goes out on leave. The role will work closely with the executive team and it would be a hybrid role. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the accounting team to prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports. 
  • Oversee month-end closing process and reconcile all balance sheet accounts and review for any discrepancies
  • Assist accounting team and ensure all financial controls are maintained
  • Provide input in the annual budget process, work closely with Senior Management.
  • Supervise the general ledger team in coordination with accounting manager 
  • Oversee accounts payable 
  • Coordinate annual audit with both the internal staff and the outside accounting firm.

Requirements/Skills:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience in healthcare accounting a plus
