Skilled in tasks such as wiring buildings, installing fixtures, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and hands-on experience, and ensure that all work meets safety standards and building codes.

• Journey Electrician Responsibilities*
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Perform electrical work on commercial projects, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution
• Troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems, such as fire alarms and security systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Safely work with high voltage equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with other trades, such as frame carpentry, to complete projects on time and within budget
• Install and program logic controllers for industrial automation systems
• Journey Electrician Position Requirements*
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Enrolled in or completed an accredited electrical apprenticeship program
• 2 years of experience as a Journeyperson Electrician
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
• Experience working on commercial and industrial projects
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• Familiarity with high-voltage equipment and safety protocols
