The Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the ranks of Instructor or Assistant professor.

Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) is an 894-bed academic medical center hospital that is the primary teaching affiliate for the Feinberg School of Medicine and has nearly 1,900 affiliated physicians representing virtually every medical specialty. Northwestern Memorial Hospital ranks among the top hospitals in the nation and is recognized for providing exemplary patient care and innovative advancements in a variety of clinical areas including cardiovascular care; oncology; neurology and neurosurgery; geriatrics; solid organ and soft tissue transplants; orthopedics; and women’s health at its Prentice Women’s Hospital.

This position will help patients with the biological and psychological aspects of normal aging and will also help patients with late-life depression and anxiety, psychosis and dementia. They will also have board certification in Psychiatry and be board certified in Geriatric Psychiatry. Candidates with an interest in Huntington’s disease will be given special consideration. This position will also assist with our Geriatric Fellowship program.
The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
