Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. The 135 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only childrens hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services for our communitys children ranging from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. It has a 16 bed PICU, 70 bed NICU with 24-hour in-house Neonatology coverage.

The organization has 4 acute care hospitals and 2 specialty hospitals that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.
Position Information:
Lee Physician Group (LPG) is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join their team of 8 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers at Golisano Childrens Hospital. Ideal candidates will be BE/BC in General Pediatrics with pediatric hospitalist experience or completion of a Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship.This position is set up with a schedule that includes abundant consecutive days off to maintain a wonderful work-life balance. Golisano Childrens Hospital has been named Top Childrens Hospital by The Leapfrog Group four times. Golisano is home to Southwest Floridas only state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center and is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Golisano is recognized as an Asthma Friendly Hospital by the Florida Asthma Coalition.Most recently Golisano Children's Hospital was recognized as a Certified Autism Center. Golisano is the second hospital in the United States and first in Florida to receive this designation.
Lee Memorial Hospital, HealthPark Medical Center and Gulf Coast Medical Center earned recognition as a 2022-2023 Best Regional Hospital in Florida by U.S. News & World Report, in addition to being rated as High Performing. Cape Coral Hospital was also awarded a High Performing rating.
All Lee Health adult acute care hospitals have been named among Americas Best Hospitals for 2022, a distinction that places them in the top two and five percent of hospitals nationwide, according to Healthgrades.
The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) announced that Lee Health has earned 2021 CHIME Digital Health Most Wired recognition as a certified level 8.
Leapfrog Group released its Spring 2022 Hospital Safety Grades and awarded HealthPark Medical Center with an A grade for the sixth straight reporting period, and advanced Gulf Coast Medical Center to an A from the last reporting period.
