VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT is seeking a full time General Practice Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join the team at our 24-7 general, emergency and specialty hospital in West Hartford, CT. We offer our supervisors monthly training and support on various industry focused leadership and development topics. Your success is our success and we work as a collaborative unit providing you the connectivity of 10 additional specialty hospital supervisor teams to grow, learn, and share information with. We have an incredible leadership team and an onsite technician manager who is passionate about supporting our veterinary assistants and technicians. We are committed to your continuing education and personal career development and strive to create an environment where training advanced technician skills is our top priority. Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor Responsibilities:
Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
Some regional travel required
Facilitate communication of ideas, policies, standards and performance
Provide feedback related to associate performance, and collaborate with leadership to develop performance improvement plans
