**Responsibilities**

Ascension Sacred Heart Bay is looking for a full-time BC/BE Cardiovascular/Thoracic surgeon in Panama City, Florida.

**Position Highlights:**

+ Primary Heart Center for the community

+ Will consider new fellows

+ Live and work on the beautiful Gulf Coast of FL

+ TAVR/Structural Heart program (including Watchman and Cryo)

+ Bay offers an accredited Stroke Center, a Level II Trauma Center - which provides 24-hour emergency care for life-threatening injuries and illnesses, and emergency services located at the main hospital as well as a freestanding emergency center on Panama City Beach.

**Requirements**

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

**Required Credential(s):**

Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Board eligibility/certification in medical specialty required.

**Preferred Credential(s):**

Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

**Education:**

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
