Bon Secours Orthopedic Specialist of Petersburg

Bon Secours Mercy Health is hiring a Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Upper Extremity Surgeon to practice at Bon Secours Orthopedic Specialists of Petersburg in 2024 This is a fulltime opportunity to work at Southside Medical Center. The hospital is a 300-bed facility located on a 50-acre campus with nearly 400 physicians representing more than 40 specialties. New grads are welcome to apply, must be fellowship trained and BC/BE.
Job Details:
- Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm
- Practice Setting – Outpatient, Multi-Specialty Group
- Call Schedule – 7 days per month, ED call, cross coverage, trauma, prescription refills and general coverage.
- Hospital Credentialing – Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center
- Average Patients per day – 40 in clinic
- Expected Volume – 1-15 surgical cases per week. Set OR block time.
- Equipment Involved – X-ray & MRI
- EMR – EPIC, telemedicine, consults, rounding, monitoring. Inpatient & outpatient.
- Practice Support in place – CMA, LPN and Practice Manager
