**Range includes night differential. +$50/hr for evening and weekend shifts.
Boulder Community health is seeking an RN who provides patient care, identifying and implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating outcomes.

Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration, etc.)
•Colorado Nursing License in good standing
•CEN – Certification for Emergency Nursing – desirable
•ED/Critical Care experience
•Knowledgeable of EMTALA issues that impact ED care and management.
•Planning and Implementation. Based on assessment, sound knowledge and critical thinking, ED nurses shall initiate nursing interventions and diagnostic tests according to standard, and function independently to assure high quality, timely and comprehensive care is offered.
•ED nurses will evaluate patient response to treatment plans, collaborate with physicians, and modify care according to patient responses. Nurses will assure open and timely communication with patients, family, and team members to assure understanding of care, delivery delays, and comprehensive care. The nurse shall assist the patient and significant other to have the information they need on discharge to care for themselves or their loved one.
•Nurses shall recognize their own learning needs and those of peers and assist in meeting those needs to maximize professional development and optimal emergency nursing practice.
•Participates in the orientation of new staff.
