Under the direction of the Fabrication Supervisor, the CNC Machinist will set up and operate CNC lathe machines. They will need to be able to set up and run parts complete, to print. Machinist will also be responsible for verifying parts are machined per print before handing off to inspection.
Set up/ design fixturing for machine operations need to complete part.
Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools.
Stop machines to remove finished work pieces, or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences.
Calculate machine speed and feed ratios, and the size and position of cuts.
Helps drive and support BCT's Culture and Core Values

Able to layout features on material using drawings.
Attention to detail and proficient computer skills.
4+ years set up and operation of CNC Lathes and Mills required.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment (and foundry experience is a plus)
